Cables overview
The Beckhoff Ethernet switch CU2608 offers eight D-coded M12 Ethernet ports for connecting Ethernet devices in a network. With a transmission speed of 10/100 MBit/s and its industrial design, it can be used universally in automation and office networks and relays incoming Ethernet frames to the destination ports. It is also characterized by its flat design in an IP67 plastic housing and easy mounting via two central M4 fastenings or optionally via two offset M3 holes.
The CU2608 meets the special requirements of real-time-capable Industrial Ethernet solutions through following features:
- 10/100 Mbits/s Ethernet
- half or full duplex, with automatic transmission speed detection
- cross-over detection: automatic detection and correction of crossover or 1:1 Ethernet cables
- collision avoidance in full duplex mode
- clear, quick diagnosis, one LED for each Ethernet port
