The EPP2316-0003 EtherCAT P Box combines eight digital inputs (upper female header) and eight digital outputs (lower female header) on one device. The inputs have a 10 µs filter. The outputs handle load currents of up to 0.5 A, are short-circuit proof and protected against inverse polarity. The signal status is displayed via the optional connector. The signal connection is established via spring-loaded connectors, optionally available in 1- and 3-pole versions.

The connected sensors are supplied via an internal, short-circuit proof driver block with a total of 0.5 A for all sensors. The outputs are supplied via UP. All outputs are short-circuit proof and protected against inverse polarity.

The 16-channel design offers high channel density in a small space; however, the protection rating is limited due to the spring-loaded connector.

The module is supplied without connectors.
