EP2038-0042 | EtherCAT Box, 8-channel digital output, 24 V DC, 2.4 A, M12, with diagnostics

The EP2038-0042 EtherCAT Box is intended for processing digital/binary signals. It switches the binary control signals from the automation device to the actuators at the process level. The eight outputs each process an output current of up to max. 2.4 A. A short-term overload is possible. The outputs are short-circuit proof. The total current of all outputs is limited to 16 A. The signal status of the channels is indicated by LEDs. The signals are connected via M12 screw type connectors. One channel is available per M12 socket. Each output channel reports an “open load” or short-circuit error to the PLC via a diagnostic. This diagnostic can be switched off channel by channel. Module-related undervoltage detection of the supply voltage takes place. The EP2038-0042 has M12 D-coded EtherCAT connectors and 7/8" connectors for the power supply.
