AM8000, AM8100, AM8500 | New ordering option: EnDat 3 encoder with SIL 3 safety integration

The synchronous servomotors of the AM8000, AM8100 and AM8500 series are optionally available with a high-resolution two-channel safety encoder. This means that the motors have been developed to fulfil the critera for risk class SIL 3 PL e. Due to its compact design, the 19-bit encoder is universally available for all motor sizes > F2 (58 mm edge length). The robust, inductive encoder is optionally available with a battery-free absolute multi-turn variant with 4096 revolutions. The encoder's high accuracy of ±120 arc seconds makes it suitable for precise applications such as machine tools or printing machines. In combination with the AX8000 servo drives, the ELM72xx and TwinSAFE from Beckhoff, all drive-related safety functions in DIN EN ISO 13489-1:2008 can now be fulfilled.
