The EPP3356-0022 EtherCAT P Box module allows direct connection of a resistance bridge (strain gauge) or load cell in a 4-wire terminating system. The ratio of the UD bridge voltage to the UREF supply voltage is determined with high precision in the input circuit, and the final load value is calculated as the process value based on the settings in the EPP3356-0022. With automatic self-calibration (which can be deactivated), dynamic filters, distributed clocks support, and a sampling rate of up to 100 µs, the EPP3356-0022 is particularly suitable for fast and precise acquisition of torque or vibration sensors.

 

All four M12 sockets are assigned to facilitate parallel operation of several strain gauges.
