This course focuses on PLC programming of the TwinCAT 3 system. The course aims to provide the participant with the knowledge required for PLC programming. Training will be based on the IEC-61131-3 standard. Enhanced options, such as object-oriented extensions of the IEC standard, creation of modules in C++, and high-level language interface for visualization, are deliberately omitted here.

Requirements
- Sound knowledge of PLC programming
- No prior knowledge of TwinCAT 2 is necessary
- TR1900-TA-ON must be ordered additionally for the course – provision of technical equipment
- The participant needs a PC for the training on which TwinCAT 3.1 XAE (TE1000) can be installed
- The TwinCAT software will be installed and the technical equipment commissioned in cooperation with a Beckhoff employee in the week leading up to the training
