Combined functions with the C60xx Industrial PC series

The scalable C60xx series combines maximum computing power in what is currently the most compact format with a wide range of options for installation in the control cabinet.

With a mounting space of just 82 x 82 x 40 mm, the C6015 Industrial PC represents Beckhoff's most compact entry-level Industrial PC and price savings of 25% or more (depending on the configuration) place it well below the previously least expensive x86 PCs. Due to its extremely compact size, the versatile and flexible mounting options and the impressive computing power of the Intel Atom^® processors, it fits into virtually any control cabinet and machine concept. Apart from use for a wide range of automation tasks, the C6015 is mainly suitable for use as an IoT gateway, or as an edge device. The basis for this is the full integration and compatibility of TwinCAT and EtherCAT.

With the C6017, Beckhoff is extending its range of ultra-compact Industrial PCs by a modular variant with scalable interface extensions and a 1-second UPS for the backup of persistent data. Due to its extremely compact size, the versatile and flexible mounting options and the impressive computing power of the Intel Atom^® processors, the C6017 fits into virtually any control cabinet and machine concept. Apart from use for a wide range of automation tasks, the C6017 is mainly suitable for use as an IoT gateway, or as an edge device. The basis for this is the full integration and compatibility of TwinCAT and EtherCAT.

The C6025 ultra-compact Industrial PC is designed as a fanless device and offers high computing power despite its small dimensions of 82 x 127 x 50 mm. Depending on the configuration, the Intel Atom or Intel^® Core™ i U processors with up to four processor cores form the basis for this, because despite their Core™ i properties their power consumption is much lower compared with the other processors from the series.

The C6027 ultra-compact Industrial PC is designed as a fanless device and offers the high Intel^® Core™ i computing power despite its small dimensions of 82 x 127 x 69 mm. The Intel^® Core™ i U processors with up to four processor cores form the basis for this, because despite their Core™ i properties their power consumption is much lower compared with the other processors from the series.

Motivated by the success of the C6015, in particular in IoT and Industrie 4.0 applications, Beckhoff has extended its range of ultra-compact control cabinet Industrial PCs by the C6030. Whether for complex axis control, elaborate HMI applications, extremely short cycle times or the handling of large volumes of data: through the integration of Intel^® Core™ i processors of the highest performance class, the C6030 is suitable for virtually any automation and visualization task. The basis for this is the full integration and compatibility of TwinCAT and EtherCAT.

With the C6032, Beckhoff is extending its range of ultra-compact Industrial PCs by a modular variant with scalable interfaces and functional extensions. Whether for complex axis control, elaborate HMI applications, extremely short cycle times or the handling of large volumes of data: through the integration of Intel^® Core™ i processors of the highest performance class, the C6032 is suitable for virtually any automation and visualization task. The addition of the even more powerful C6040-0090 to the ultra-compact C60xx Industrial PC series from Beckhoff is opening up a whole new world of possibilities for users.

The C6043 Industrial PC with NVIDIA^® GPU handles applications with high demands on 3D graphics or deeply integrated Vision and AI program blocks with minimal cycle times. It extends the series of ultra-compact industrial PCs to include a high-performance device with a built-in slot for powerful graphics cards. With the latest Intel^® Core™ processors and highly parallelizing NVIDIA^® graphics processors, the PC becomes the perfect central control unit for ultra-sophisticated applications. The Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 control software is capable of mapping this as a fully integrated solution – without any additional software or interfaces. With the additional freely assignable PCIe^® compact module slot, the C6043 can be flexibly expanded with supplementary functions.
