Beckhoff offers advanced automation systems based on PC-based control technology. The product range primarily covers industrial PCs, fieldbus components, drive technology, automation software, control cabinet-free automation, and hardware for machine vision. Components and system solutions from Beckhoff are used in a wide range of sectors and applications worldwide.
Our team in Vietnam consists of Sales, Marketing and Application Support.
You will report to the Managing Director and focus on the Hanoi region.
Responsibilities
- Execute company business plans and achieve assigned sales target
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through a customer-centric and solution-driven approach
- Understand customer challenges and propose suitable industrial automation solutions
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations, highlighting the value and benefits of automation solutions
- Collaborate closely with application engineers and product specialists to design customized solutions based on customer requirements
- Provide recommendations for system improvements, upgrades, and new automation implementations
- Manage sales pipeline and maintain accurate records of opportunities, activities, and customer interactions
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and key account updates for management review
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the automation industry
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or related disciplines preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within industrial automation, manufacturing, or related B2B industries
- Based on the relevant experience, candidate may be considered for Sales Engineer or Senior Sales Engineer accordingly
- Strong hunter mindset with proven ability to independently identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities
- Ability to build long-term partnerships with customers while driving business growth
- Solid understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLC, SCADA, robotics, sensors, motion control, and manufacturing ecosystems
- Experience working with industries such as manufacturing, automotive, electronics, FMCG, or industrial machinery is an advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Vietnamese
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively across sales and technical teams
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for customers
