Kotiseutumme: Ostwestfalenin innovaatioalue
Pääkonttorimme sijaitsee Verlin kaupungissa Güterslohin alueella Ostwestfalenissa Saksassa, joka tunnetaan menestyvästä liiketoiminnastaan. Alue vetää puoleensa myös globaalisti tunnettuja suuryrityksiä ja PK-yrityksiä, joista monet ovat perheyrityksiä ja ovat kansainvälisesti niin kutsuttuja ”Hidden Champion” -toimijoita, eli omalla alallaan erittäin menestyneitä. Ostwestfalenia pidetään yhtenä Saksan vahvimmista talousalueista koneenrakennus- ja elektroniikkateollisuuden toimialoilla. Monien johtavien automaatioteknologiavalmistajien pääkonttorit sijaitsevat alueella. Lisäksi siellä toimii elintarvike- ja huonekaluteollisuuden sekä IT-alan yrityksiä.
Alueen yritysten ja korkeakoulujen sekä tutkimuslaitosten välinen yhteistyö on tehnyt Ostwestfalenista myös dynaamisen tiedekeskittymän, jossa kehitettyjä tekniikan innovaatioita tuodaan säännöllisesti maailmanmarkkinoille. Ostwestfalen ei edusta innovaatioalueiden kärkeä ainoastaan Saksassa, vaan myös Euroopassa.
