This class provides a comprehensive accelerated experience to better understand the basics of, and troubleshooting techniques for, the core technologies involved in Beckhoff-controlled industrial automation systems.

This course will teach the student how to:
- Better support comprehensive Beckhoff machine applications through the reinforcement of fundamental technical information
- Troubleshoot the following technologies through hands-on exercises with a running application:
- TwinCAT runtime
- EtherCAT fieldbus
- TwinSAFE
- NC PTP motion
- IO hardware
- PLC logic
- Prioritize troubleshooting steps to reduce machine downtime
- Work efficiently to navigate the engineering environment (XAE)
- Take multi-level machine backups
- Manage software versions properly
- Leverage critical tips and tricks
Prerequisites
- One of the following is required:
- TR3029, TR3028, or TR3038 (in person course)
- Beckhoff Machine Builder – Core Functionality Learning Path (online courses at https://learn.beckhoffus.com)
