PC Control customer magazine – The New Automation Technology Magazine

PC Control is Beckhoff Automation's international customer magazine, published four times a year and supplemented by additional special issues. It covers the full spectrum of New Automation Technology topics, primarily with expert interviews and technical articles on new products and technologies as well as inspiring reports on customer applications across the globe.

It's almost impossible to imagine today's high-performance, comprehensive automation systems without open PC-based control technology. This concept is nothing new for Beckhoff, though; PC-based control will turn 40 this year! The current issue of Beckhoff's customer magazine offers a short overview of this successful philosophy and further details will follow in the subsequent issue. The article on the new economy drive system demonstrates that this concept continues to be dynamically developed and numerous application reports give insights into its practical application: Nobilia and Hüttenhölscher have used the AMP8000 distributed servo drive system, the XTS was implemented in vehicle cable harness production systems by Komax SLE, and modernizing of the Ferry Porsche Congress Center.
