The primary parts of the AL2000 contain a grooved laminated core with copper windings placed inside and are primarily used with motion. The medium-size series – the AL20xx – consists of seven different motors, each with an identical width of 80 mm (including magnetic plate). Due to the uniform pole pair distance of 24 mm, all AL21xx magnetic plates can be combined as desired.

Due to the casting of the AL2000 primary parts, they are very sturdy and attain the high protection rating IP64. They are thus suitable for use in harsher environments. The primary parts are equipped with a 1 m cable without a connector or with a 0.5 m cable including an assembled connector. The coupling to the servo drive can thus be established either via the connector box or via the connectors. This greatly reduces the difficulty of implementing the cabling, and makes a significant contribution to avoiding errors.

In conjunction with the AX5000 servo drives, the linear motors from the AL2000 series are particularly suitable for dynamic movements requiring high acceleration values over short distances.
