The two EL417x analog output terminals output all known standard signals in the range of ±10 V and ±20 mA, and the EL307x inputs can process these. All outputs can be parameterized individually and are single-ended to reduce cabling work. The current outputs can have high load resistances and detect operating faults such as overload, wire breakage, or short circuiting via a diagnostic feature. The EtherCAT Terminals have an extended output range of ±107%, which can be used to pass on atypical setpoints, e.g. for transmitting error states.
