Practice-Integrated Engineering Training

Beckhoff Automation GmbH & Co. KG offers practice-integrated engineering training in cooperation with the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences. The concept provides for close integration of industrial practice and university studies. Each semester consists of a practical 14-week phase (internship) in the company and a subsequent 12-week theoretical phase at the university. Due to the close interaction between practical training activities and university studies, students are well-prepared for practical deployment in the technical and business administration functions of the company. The course is conducted in German and ends after 3.5 years with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. The students are remunerated by the company throughout the full duration of the course in accordance with the collective agreements of the metal and electrical industry for apprentices.
