The Logimat 2019 trade show, held from 19 to 21 February in Stuttgart, was well attended with more than 60,000 international trade visitors. At the Beckhoff booth, logistics users were able to experience the advantages of PC- and EtherCAT-based control technology first hand. The open automation platform enables flexible and fast responses to changing market trends, as well as implementation of highly efficient and versatile warehouse and distribution logistics for applications of any type or scale. The modular and in terms of performance precisely scalable range of Beckhoff automation and drive technology components enable even the most complex intralogistics scenarios to be implemented. Open, standardised hardware and software interfaces facilitate connection of IoT and control technology to existing infrastructures and servers.
