With the introduction of the new AM8000 high-performance servomotor series, Beckhoff now offers a complete automation system consisting of PC-based controllers, I/O, Drives and motors – completely from the company’s own development and production. The rotary synchronous servomotors, which are available in standard and stainless steel designs, are characterised by high dynamics, energy efficiency and low costs. One of the AM8000 highlights is the new single-cable technology, with which the power and feedback system are combined in one standard motor cable. Material and commissioning costs can be significantly lowered as a result.
