The TR8110-0010 seminar EtherCAT technology basics for developers is aimed at developers for a general understanding of the technology and as the recommendable preparation before attending one of the mentioned workshops below. The seminar discusses the EtherCAT protocol, its functional mechanisms and development-relevant knowledge for implementation.
The TR8100-0010 workshop is aimed at developers of EtherCAT slave devices and the TR8200-0010 workshop is aimed at developers of EtherCAT master devices. Both workshops contain theoretical explanations and practical exercises. It is assumed that workshop participants have access to an EL9820 evaluation kit (slave workshop) or the ET9200 Master Sample Code (master workshop). Basic EtherCAT knowledge is assumed.
The workshops are held in German or English by developers in manageable groups so that individual interests can be addressed. The number of participants is limited therefore we recommend registering early.
