California Residents – California Consumer Privacy Act Rights Request Information

On January 1, 2020, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) came into effect. The CCPA gives California residents (“you”) rights regarding the collection, use, sharing, and sale of your personal information. Beckhoff Automation (“we”) values your privacy, and so we will work with you to exercise your rights under the CCPA. Importantly, the rights you receive under the law may vary, depending on both the request and the requestor. For that reason, if you contact us to exercise one of your rights under the CCPA, we may limit our response accordingly.

The CCPA gives you the right to make three major requests related to your personal information:

  • Right to Opt Out- the right to opt out of the “sale” of your personal information.
  • Right to Deletion- the right to request deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to Know- the right to access the personal information we have collected about you in the preceding 12 months.

Additional information about your rights can be found in the California Supplement to our Privacy Policy. You may initiate your request to exercise your rights by calling us at 1-877-894-6228, or by emailing us at You can also complete our web form below.
